**This is my opinion and how I go about dealing with businesses. Others may have different approaches. In the end you will have to decide what works best for you.**

You are selling a service. That service is your detail. The thing that you have to present is why you instead of the 200 other people they have talked to, you will not be the 1st. Is your cost cheaper? Is your quality better? Businesses are nothing but another customer. They have to feel comfortable with what they are buying or what they are recommending. They are also putting their name on the line. Take a portfolio with you, show them a brochure that outlines your services, perhaps the products you use. Offer them one of your top tier packages free of charge to display your abilities. Just don't get caught up that you are presenting to a business. As far as your pitch goes, it should be consistant no matter who you speak to. Your quality of work is what is going to decide your fate with high end auto shops or anyone for that matter.
