Default Is a wet vac good enough for cleaning carpets?

Hey guys,

I picked up this vacuum on sale for less than half this price. It's a GREAT overall car cleaning vacuum. It comes with a car cleaning accessory kit which is a long hose, upholstery brush, and other things I can use to try and concourse carpets.

My question is does this vacuum have what it takes to clean and suckup liquid from carpets and upholstery? For leather it's not such a problem because there is a blower attachment (not that I'd be using it) and I have a ton of microfibre.

Any idea as to if this is good enough?
