[quote=sneek;44450]a lot of the Nikons suck. QUOTE]

haha j/m im a NIKON user myself, however their Point n shoots mite not be great, i woudlnt know..Their DSLR's PWN though =)

if i'm not lugging around my SLR then ill usually cary my sony point n shoot, been buying them for years now and dont have too much of an issue with it. Canons point n shoots are REALLY good (ugh, i hate how i have to say that), but u also pay a good $.

I guess it depends on what you want to spend, what your going to use it for and its application. I know any SLR will shoot 10000x better than a point n shoot, so when i buy a point n shoot i usually try to get something convenient and fast, at the same time not expecting too much either.

i dont think its worth it for me to pay more than $300 or so for a point n shoot..even though the more expensive ones are really good , jus imagine that ur only a few bucks a way from slr's

so.without that being said, take it with a grain of salt...

my recommendation, sony/casio = mid range, canon = high, nikon (n/a..havent used)
