The EZ brush is a really good tool, it will take a beating both from chemical and physical and it will keep on going. I have one and I've had mine since last summer and still going strong. It can splatter but just have to be carefull with it that's all.

As for the finger thingies, not sure I've never used one just yet but I've heard positive feed back on them
