So, I've put
1Z Glantz Wax on three of my cars. Beading is just scary good. One car has had it on for 6 weeks and it's still going strong.
Has anybody tried to top it with anything, or add another coat? All of my cars except one are outside 24/7 (Seattle weather). I don't want to join the "I just put my 8th coat of Z-5 on and man it's starting to really pop!" club. I'm looking for max protection and durability. I have old cars and they aren't like these new cars. Two of them are resprays and I'm not sure how much paint I have. I do not want to polish every six months. I just don't think the paints are up to it.
I guess my best plan (using the products I'm gravitating to) is to ORN them every couple of weeks and monitor how well the
1Z holds up and ONR/
1Z when it demands it.
It just seems that the
1Z is so wierd. So easy it almost feels like you're not doing anything. No pressure on - quick light haze - minimal buff with a MF. It just doens't feel as though I've done enough to protect. Anything else you'd do in my situation?
