On tuesday the local vw and audi dealer called me up, they coulden`t remove the marks after the signs that had been on the driving school cars. So He wanted me to do it. I said okey of course, for the right price. Done deal. Went to pick up the A4 around 4 pm and delivered 11 AM on wedneday. Switch for the Audi A3, that I delivered today.
I most say this car was the worst. They haden`t done anything to it. I had to find out my most aggressive clay. THe paint was like sandpaper. I killed the whole clay.
I started with a precleand with
ARO, then foam over that with Citrus wash and gloss. P21S on the wheels. Started with the wheels, used EZ brush and Swissvax wheel brush. The wheels was so bad, that they diden`t get mutch better. later on. Then rinsed down the car, and washed with 2b,
cg chencille mf mitt and citrus wash from
CG. The car got nice and cleaned. Rinsed it again. Then foamed with Optimum car wash and started to clay. Tried this for the first time and worked great! Nice lube. Rinsed off and dried, drove it inside for inspection.
The car had heavy swirls and what not. I got my makita that day and settled for Maktia + wool + powergloss. Tried this on half of the hood, and it was a killer combo. Cut fast and the paint diden`t get to hot. The paint looked
lsp ready, I am very impressed with powergloss. Started on my second bottle now by the way. I haven`t used wool to mutch before, but I have to say its good. On audi is a great thing, and I am gone use it more in the future. I worked my way around the car and used menzerna top inspection to get some more out of the pad on my way. The compounding took some time, the second stage went faster. After PG and wool I went for 3M ultrafine SE and a blue sonus pad on my Metabo. The paint got a extra gloss and buffertrails gone.
Started on the rims, with some Duragloss 501 and a mf. Got all the stuff away, this is a good product for sure! Love it. Went with Megs silicon free dressing on the tires.
I washed the engine with DP engine degreaser and dressed it with 303 protecant.
Wipe down with optimums new quick detailer and then topped the car with jetseal. Glass with jetseal. Dressed the trim with
CG VRP.
That was about everything, the car came out great. I would have topped with a wax, but let jetseal work alone this time.
