Well 3M pads are quite nice, I really like the blue polishing pad. It's soft and it has a really good bite to it.
I've also had great success with Meg's pads, the polishing pad combined with Menzerna has given me great results
I also like the Sonus pads, I really like having that extra caution. Sonus combined with the 3M backing plate has lots of caution best part the 3M backing plate spreads the pressure evenly.
Oh I also have the Menzerna pads them selves and boy are they nice pads, they are different from all the other pads I have in my arsenal. They are stiff both the compounding pad and the polishing pad but Menzerna pads are great to work with. They are 5inch size and in my opinion they are perfect..if you like smaller pads that is....the only thing I don't like about them is they are so stiff. You just have to pay attention when your using them that's all. Oh and the nice thing about the Menzerna pads is that it takes them a very long time to get saturated but that's okay because Menzerna like the CCS pads keep the polish on the surface and hardly any gets saturated in to the pad..that I found a bit odd at first but you get the hang of them after a wile. I like them, they work good for me.
So many pads out there but these I'm happy with...oh and there is nothing wrong with Lake Country, they will get the job done
I have Lake Country pads as well...it's been a wile since I used them though
