I think the thread supplies the following....

Even at 1800 dollars, Vintage doesn't blow any product out of the water. Even with the huge price, you have to do the whole car (at which point you can no longer make a comparision because the human mind will alter memory to support current belief) to notice a slight difference. So even though Vintage (my favorite wax, btw) is 9000% percent more expensive, it doesn't produce enough difference for people to take note over a five month old sealant.

It is only when the whole car is done that a difference may be precived. Pyscology will tell you that based on the recall-theory, no difference likely exists.

I have said and continue to say that Zaino is the best sealant on the market hands down, and at 20 (or so) dollars for a bottle, it is impressive that at 5 months, even people at a detailing get together couldn't tell the difference. (Well one in five did, I believe the other four choose 5 month old Zaino as the better).

Also, I have the upmost respect for the detailer's across the Atlantic as they seem least interested in brand name and loyality and more interested in the honest result. I rarely see product bias in any of thier write-ups and personally think that they set the standard when it comes to detailing.

In the end, if using one product over another makes you feel better, then it is worth the price, period.
