It came out at the same time as 105 but there are differences. This is something Mike Phillips posted on the old MOL forum:

Setec Astronomy:
Could we get an explanation as to the difference between this and the new M95 Compound, since both of these seem to be rated 12 "Extra Heavy Cut"? Are these rotary-only compounds? Are they effective or formulated for ceramic clearcoats? What are the recommended polishes to follow these with?

Hi Mike,

We're going to ask Jason Rose for the specifics on the differences between these two products, we had a hallway meeting where we asked him this same question and if memory serves me correctly, they both have the same abrading ability, but the M105 offers a lot more in final polishing ability. What this means is after finishing with the M105, the car looks like it's been glazed the paint is so clear and glossy. Not bad for an aggressive compound. We've personally only used this one time and that was to remove sanding marks last week after wet-sanding the hood on the Joker. It is by far the best compound we've ever used as far as cutting ability, play time, working characteristics, wipe-off and end results.

This new compound is going to be a real big hit in the body shop industry as there's nothing like it. Period.
