yup it sucks I just did an 04 M3 and the guy's car was mint! but one thing he swapped out his oem hood for an aftermarket, decided just a few weeks
ago to put it back to oem for the track..traded a guy for an oem hood and this thing was repainted without a paint gauge just your eyes...sucked the customer was not happy at all.
