I mean if you really think about it if dirt or something is blown in to the applicator even if I apply by going up and down direction it's still going to incude a scratch or micro marring...but I just prefer the one direction method that's all. I'm sure the circle method works just as good, just my prefereance that's all...but like I said I'm a little
