1. If doing a full detail in one day, do the interior first so that the interior, specifically the carpet and seats, are given enough time to dry after going over it with an extractor.

2. Test-polish a small area to find out what proper approach of pad combinations and polishes are necessary to correct the paint for full or almost perfect paint correction.

3. Clean up your detailing gear and other misc. items as you wait to buff off your LSP, for those that require it.

4. Have meals made so you don't have to go out to buy food.
