DB Boss sent me a PM on this and here is the thought behind why the the polls option turned off.
Well at first the thought of the polls option on for everyone was that it would create to many polls but now that the forum has supporters I think it's fair to let the supporters have access to the polls.
I'll change it Phil and you and Chris (eShine) should have access to this option shortly
