One can actually argue it's price is not high. What costs you more in the end, $150 tool that can not do something or $270 tool that does it with ease? IMHO $150 tool costed you more because those $150 are not bringing you result, therefore they went to waste.

The UDM is a great machine, the best random orbital out there IMO but it can't compare to a forced rotation/Random Orbital.
I agree on the price, I would seriously pay $400+ for this machine after trying it. One wetsand job on a classic cars pays up tp $1K so it pays for itself after half a use.
