I've had great success with the
Swissvax wheel brush,
boar's hair wheel brush,
EZ Detail Brush,
wheel spoke brush, and
lug nut wheel cleaner for cleaning wheels. Now I don't use all of them every time I clean the wheels. Typically I use a combination of those tools depending on the wheel type.
As for cleaning the wheel wells, I use the
wheel well brush and/or the
black ShMITT with great success as well.
