Now I'm not sure whether that started happening before or after I used my UPW to clean the pads today but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up as this may be a potential issue for those of us who own the Ultimate pads. I have yet to try the orange and red Ultimate pads but will keep you guys updated if I experience similar results.

I really like those Ultimate pads but if I find the backing pads to behave like this due to minimal pressure with my PC and 3.5" flexible backing plate from Excel Detail, I don't see myself purchasing anymore of these.
hmm...that's odd, I can't say I've had that issue, mind you i use the Ultimate pads with the small backing plate and that fits is perfectly. I haven't used the polishin pall either. I've been using all three of the Ultimate pads and the blue usually works great and no need for the compounding pad (Orange).

Interesting you had that issue though Denzil I wonder if others have had the same problem
