Thanks for the heads up. I just read a couple reviews also. Many folks are using this spray for paints which is rather thick in viscosity. Diluted tire gel should be less thick. The reviews were pretty much 50/50. Most people had problems not being able to spray at all due to the compatibility of different paints, either latex or oil-based. And the other half thinks it works fine.

I bought a gallon, I plan to just use an applicator. It is thick so an applicator should work fine...

The Opt TS has a nice look to it not real shiney nor matt..i did wipe the front tire off after letting the product sit for ten mnts but it left to flat of a finish for me ..the last 3 tires i let dry on there own and was pleased with the look..not to glossy and dried to the touch..

its raining today so will see about tits durabilty..

the OCW was easy to use even on panels that where warm to the touch..with the rain this AM it beaded pretty nice...i would definately want to use it a few times before judging it...

The new cleaner holds to the Optimum philosophy that one product should cover multiple uses. So it can clean wheels, not like an acid as it needs some agitation, but a whole lot safer than both hydrofluoric and oxalic acid. It cleans tires very well and does a nice job on bugs. It's concentrated so it can be mixed as needed.

People may not find a great deal of difference between the new and the old spray waxes but I have noticed more slickness and a slight increase in ease of application.

The new Instant Detailer (OID) is pretty slick stuff. Those who have tested it against FK1 have said it's slicker. I can't comment on that as I've never used the FK1 but I have used the OID and so far a huge fan of it. Most impressive is one gallon concentrate makes 4 gallons of OID!!

Still in the works is a water spot remover and rust remover, which is almost ready, plus a new polish that is separate from OP. The product I'm most excited about though is the one I can say the least about, other than the durability of it is second to its other function.

I just used the Power Clean that I won for the April giveaway on the Optimum forum and that stuff did wonders on cleaning the tires and rims. I also just tried the new OID by Optimum and was impressed with how slick it is.

I used the OCW and OID yesterday and I was impressed. I used poliseal with the flex on a white Sonus pad then used the OCW to remove the poliseal, waited about an hour and then hit it with OID. It really looks good on silver and you can't beat how quick that process is.
