Default Pad recommendations for the flex?

Hey guys,

My question is two parts:

1) my lc ccs pads and flat pads are what I have left over from the good old PC/UDM. Are those ample? Or should I look at purchasing some sonus pads from eshine?

2) I have menz 83 and 106ff, so which pad would be optimal?

All my pads are 6.5 inch, I do however had a couple of 5.5 orange and white pads.

I think you'll be fine with the LC pads. I just used a blue CCS pad on my flex the other day, worked great with PO85RD.

You should definately buy more from us

1)The pad that came with the UDM are made by Lake Country, so are the Sonus pads. I like the Sonus pads because they are smaller (6") and work better on a PC or UDM. For a Flex definately go with the 6.5" CCS.

2)I use Orange with 83 and follow up with either white/black using the 106ff, works for me 99% of the time.

Chris the white Sonus pads I got from you are the absolute BEST as far as I am concerned if you have the new 5.5" bp for the Flex. I like them a lot better than the 6.5" LC CCS pads. The only problem is I should have bought more of them. Those Sonus pads are easy to control and I don't think I use as much product with them either.

See why I purchased a case of each

But yes I agree with Wolf, the sonus pads are great. Good, size and are easy to work with and I too have noticed that once the pad is saturated you use less products, something that the Meg's pad didn't do. I mean no matter how much product I use with the Meg's pads they just wont saturate not sure if it's just me but that's what I noticed.

So are the Sonus 6" pads the ones to go for with the newer 5.5" backing plate ?

Was hoping the LC 6.5" pads would still work with the Flex as they have a nice range of different grade pads.....Would the 6" 3M pads also work with the Flex ?

Carn, All the pads you posted will work with the Flex. If you just recently ordered one you should have the new 5.5 in backing plate. I think the only pads that aren't compatible would be the Edge pads, because they need a special adapter, and the 4 in pads. The 4in pads will stick on, but I wouldn't recommend it. If I were you I would either go for the LC 5.5 or 6.5 Pads.

When looking for the 5.5" LC pads I seem to only find these 5 1/4" LC pads......Am I missing something or are they actually 5.5" but marked in-correctly

Lake Country 5 1/4 Inch CCS Foam Pads And Accessories
