Detailing Bliss Pro Detailer Announcement

Well I'm very pleased to anounce yet another member who's made the leap to the Pro level. Here is an interview that was conducted with the intention to get to know JLs Detailing (Wolfpakcer92) better, enjoy.

Lets start off with telling us a little about your self?
I’m 38 years old and married with two beautiful children that mean more to me than anything in the world. Oh yeah I’m an avid NC State Wolfpack fan!

How many vehicles do you own and drive and how often are they detailed?
I have three cars: A Volvo XC90, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a Dodge Stealth. You have probably seen them all on here at one time or another!

What is your childhood dream vehicle and why?
Oh this is easy, a 1987 Buick Grand National. A guy in my high school got one in 1987 and from the first time I saw it I fell in love with it. I vowed I would have one and hopefully within the next two years that will become a reality!

What got you started in to detailing?
I have always bought my own cars since I was 16 and back then I couldn’t afford much. Well even though I didn’t spend much on them I wanted them to look awesome so I detailed them until they looked good. I bought a car for $400 one time and the first thing I did when I got home with it was detail it.

How long have you been detailing at the Pro level?
I’ve been doing it for about a year now. Just recently though with the help of some forum members I felt like my skill set had reached another level.

How did you learn to machine polish?
With the PC it was with some online videos but with the rotary it was through the help of some very talented forum members like FMINUS, Asphalt Rocket, Nica, and Toto. They all contributed to my success with the rotary by answering a ton of questions for me…Thanks Guys!

What was your first machine rotary or DA?
It was a PC.

Can you recall your first Pro detail?
Vividly. Some buddies of mine were constantly after me to detail their cars for them, so one day I gave in a did one. Man I will never forget the look of astonishment on my buddy’s face when he saw the car. Just seeing that look had me hooked.

Do you have a favorite vehicle to detail and why?
Probably my wife’s Volvo XC90, because that car is so beautiful when it is detailed.

Wax or Sealant?
Hmmmm….If I have to choose I say sealant, but I love a sealant topped with a nuba.

What is your favorite Wax and why?
Right now it is a tie between Rubbish Boys Original Edition and Dodo Supernatural. Both of these waxes give an incredible look to a car and I wouldn’t be with out either of them.

What is your favorite Sealant and why?
Wow this is a tricky one as I have 3 favorites for different reasons. Duragloss 105 for light colored cars, Zaino for dark colored cars, and Jetseal if topping with a nuba.

What is your favorite make and model of car to detail and why?
1990 Porsche 944 Convertible. I did one of these recently and it was a sheer bliss to work on. The curves and care that went into the design and production of this car just had me in awe.

What is your favorite colour to detail and why?
No doubt it would be black. So many people buy black and can’t care for it properly, so when you make black look better than the day it rolled off the lot then that separates the men from the boys!

Do you like Soccer? What’s your favorite team?
I got my first introduction to soccer this year as my kids started playing. I played every sport that you can imagine growing up with the exception of soccer so I’m learning the game just like they are. Since I’m so new to it and my kids play for two different teams, I don’t have a favorite.

Where do you go to relax/holidays?
We go to the beach to relax. Of course the kids want to go a 100 mph when we are there but believe it or not that is very relaxing for me!

Do you like walks on the beach? (you have to answer this one!!!!)
As long as I have my beautiful wife by my side and the kids with us, I love it!

Welcome to the Pro level JL and wish you nothing but the best and look forward to your future posts.

Nice one JL, and good luck with the business. I like those little interviews they help give a face or personality to people you only speak with through forums and email.
