Yeah I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. If not, I guess it just must be user error but I haven't put them through hell. I'm kind of bummed out about it.

I've got a vehicle to polish out this coming weekend, I'll use them again and pay close attention this time. Denzil if you don't mind take a picture of it, let me see it. I don't mind sending you a new one if the pad is that bad

Any word on whether these pads would work on a Flex 3401?

The big pads work on the Flex 3401, you just don't have the margin of error you'd have with the 6.5 CCS (diameter & height) or Sonus (height) pads.

yes exactly, I still haven't tried the 3M UK pads on my Flex...but I never use the Flex to be honest. But what MadOzodi says about the size and height makes sense to me

Sounds good, just send the pictures via PM, I've used the smaller pads numerous times and can't say I've had the same experience as you've had.
