Oh good at least some of you guys are receiving items, all items were sent via regular mail and regular mail is quite slow

If for some reason you guys don't get the items by this week let me know, I'll pay a visit to the post office.

Good to hear you got it, I was at the post office today and by sending it the regular (cheapest) way I was told it takes up to 15 business days. I was under the impresion it was 5 to 7 business days but I guess it's 15 business days

Any who glad you got it Look forward on seeing it put to good use

I finally got to use my 3M 150 mm Perfect-it III High Gloss Polishing Pads (09378) (Black) and Ultimate 100 mm Polishing Spot Pads (Blue) this past Wednesday. To say the least, I was very happy and content with both sets of pads but unfortunately the backing pads to the Ultimate blue pads began to peel around the edges.

Now I'm not sure whether that started happening before or after I used my UPW to clean the pads today but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up as this may be a potential issue for those of us who own the Ultimate pads. I have yet to try the orange and red Ultimate pads but will keep you guys updated if I experience similar results.

I really like those Ultimate pads but if I find the backing pads to behave like this due to minimal pressure with my PC and 3.5" flexible backing plate from Excel Detail, I don't see myself purchasing anymore of these.

I recently used a red Ultimate 100mm pad with my UDM and did not experience any separation. What I did notice though is that the side of the pad is ever so slightly concave in some areas which results in the backing sticking out more than the foam.

I'm still really happy with my purchase though because the 100mm pads stick out far enough from the edges of my polishing pal for me to feel safe about not "tripping" up the pad and accidentally hitting something I shouldn't.

hmm...that's odd, I can't say I've had that issue, mind you i use the Ultimate pads with the small backing plate and that fits is perfectly. I haven't used the polishin pall either. I've been using all three of the Ultimate pads and the blue usually works great and no need for the compounding pad (Orange).

Interesting you had that issue though Denzil I wonder if others have had the same problem
