Well the forum has been growing quite nicely and by no means am I complaining but with growth come unforeseen issues and one has come up which has caused me to amend the rules a bit.

Well the rule that I'm going to amend is the choosing a user name, the rule states the following:

"..please use good judgment when choosing a user name, avatar, or images to be posted.."

First I'll explain why I'm amending this rule. With more individuals approaching me to advertise on the forum it's only fair that only those paying to advertise do so.

Therefore, new members when creating your new account to Detailing Bliss please avoid using your own company name, using your company logo as avatars and posting your company name on pictures you post. Should you wish to ignore this, I will change your user name for you along with avatars. Pictures will be removed if they contain your company name, you will receive a PM giving you a notification of the changes, but it will be just that a notification.

Now if you’re thinking that's a bit extreme, well I'm a fair person and I truly do try to be as fair as possible and I position my self on both end of the spectrums. So let me share my rationality on this. First lets say I'm paying to advertise my company name/logo/website..ect...ect...how would I feel if another member who is not paying to advertise posts his/her pictures of there details with his website/company name. Well I'd be wondering why pay when I can just advertise for free and that's just putting it kindly, I'm sure you catch my drift and know where I'm going wit this. So to be fair to those that choose to pay to advertise at Detailing Bliss all other members may not advertise at all.

So the rules are the following:

- Please refrain from using your company name as your user name when joining Detailing Bliss.
- Please refrain from using your company logo/name as your avatar.
- Please do not post pictures with your company name/website on your pictures.

Now the forum is quite young still but something tells me that in the future this will be a problem as it's a problem to all large forums, now if your wondering, well that sounds good Nica but what is the plan to those that currently have there user name as there company name, use there company logo/name as there avatar and post pictures with there company name on them? Well fair is fair and since I'm just introducing these new rules now, it's only fair to let those with current company names as there user names, avatars and previous pictures posted with company name/website to be grandfathered, meaning leave them as is. Now for those posting pictures with the company name in there pictures, I kindly ask that you stop doing it, please

Now the avatar, I could go to the extreme to lock the option of you choosing your own avatar, frankly I just don't want to do that, I'm going to trust and leave it up to all the members to respect me and respect the rule I’m introducing.

So from here on these rules will be in effect, now I won’t be mean to those that do happen to ignore these rules a DB Representative will contact the member ignoring the rules via PM and will be dealt with accordingly. But like I said I’m just trying to be fair and respectful of those that choose to support Detailing Bliss that is all.

I see that Carlos (Nica) has not posted what seems to have come out of the blue.

Well here is what we have noticed that needs to be addressed.

It has been noticed that a few members here have the tendency to post there details on the Show and Shine section and seem to put there detailing company name first then the vehicle, example:

Divine Detail - 2007 Volvo S80

I'm sure Carlos has contacted some of you with regards to this but here is the final say on it.

You may promote your detailing company only if you have upgraded your account, if you wish to upgrade your account and advertise/promote your detailing company here at Detailing Bliss click on User CP then click on Paid Subscription there you can choose the appropriate advertising category and only then can you post your details like the example above and you will post on the Pro section as well not on the Show and Shine.

So if you have not upgrade your account and you are posting on the Show and Shine section like the above example please stop doing that as it's not fair for those that have upgraded there account and are paying to advertise on this forum.

All those that continue to post as the example above your posts will be edited and you will be contacted via PM. All those that have posted in the past as the example above don't worry about it, no harm done it's that this needs to be dealt with rather sooner then latter, so we are simply asking that you stop doing it.
