Detailing Bliss Rules

My goal is to have the forum run as smooth as possible and in order to do so please follow these simple rules for the forums. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact myself or any Moderator/Administrator.

By joining Detailing Bliss you have agreed to adhere to these guidelines and rules. It should be noted that these guidelines are subject to change and a current version will always be available in the forum. Members who choose to violate these rules may be suspended or banned.

All members under the age of 13 must have written permission from their parent or guardian in order to gain membership to Detailing Bliss forums. We welcome participation from individuals under the age of 13 however we require that a parent or guardian fax a signed approval form before access is granted.

The Administrators and Moderators of Detailing Bliss will do their best to keep all objectionable messages from forums but we cannot be responsible for message content. All messages posted represent the view of the author. The Owner, Admin and Moderators of Detailing Bliss accept no responsibility/liability of the opinions expressed within this forum by the messenger. It should be noted that the Owner and Representatives of Detailing Bliss may remove, edit, move and close topics without notice, this includes the following:

1) any offensive images or content – a warning will be sent via Private Message to the person or persons involved
2) members threatening other members on the forums or Private Message
3) blatant advertising or repeated postings
4) posting of copyright material is not allowed

Multiple accounts are not allowed. In addition, please use good judgment when choosing a user name, avatar, or images to be posted. The following rules have been added by Nica on February 18, 2008:
- Please refrain from using your company name as your user name when joining Detailing Bliss.
- Please refrain from using your company logo/name as your avatar.
- Please do not post pictures with your company name/website on your pictures.

Forums have been labeled properly to help members post accordingly, please use judgment to post in the correct forum. Posts found not to fit with the appropriate forum description will be relocated without notice.

Any threads deemed to have questionable content, should at least be labeled accordingly. If a post is not labeled accordingly a Moderator or Administrator may change or edit the post with out notice.

Rudeness, flaming, shill, insults, personal attacks to others, or arguments will not be tolerated. You may challenge other’s point of view and opinion, but please do so in a respectfully matter. Please try to minimize on negative comments, I’m a firm believer in “if you have nothing nice to say then don’t say anything”.

The role of the Moderators and Administrators is to quickly and effectively handle circumstances that come up. Please do not question or discuss moderators or administrative decisions on the forum. If there is a discrepancy please “private message” a moderator or admin. Should you feel that you have been treated unfairly by a moderator or administrator and wish to complain about it, please feel free to contact DB Boss (Owner of Detailing Bliss) via private message.

Should you choose to break the rules then you will be dealt with accordingly. Such actions range from suspension for a number of days to an instant ban. Here at Detailing Bliss we will do our best to deal with such matters in the following way. First you will receive a warning before further action is taken. If you repeatedly break the same rule you leave us no choice but to either extend the suspension for weeks if not months or a more drastic measure as to a permanent ban.

Advertising or spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum Private Message system to spam other members. Example, detailers may not approach members offering themselves to detail their vehicle. Members who wish to have another member detail their vehicle can post their request on the appropriate forum.

Members who wish to share samples of products may do so at their discretion.

Members who wish to sell require a subscription, to join go to your userCP and select Paid Subscriptions for more details.

As you may have noticed signatures are not allowed due to members advertising there business, website, forum, etc. Please refrain from advertising your own business with out consent from the site owner. If you are interested in advertising your business you may contact the site owner DB Boss (Detailing Bliss owner) via private message and arrangements can be made.

We understand that there are many other forums out there and we do not mind users mentioning such forums on occasion.

Majority of these rules cover most common circumstances, however there will be issues that will come up where certain rules may be added or amended. Detailing Bliss reserves the right to take actions deemed appropriate to ensure the forum is not disrupted or abused in any way.

Detailing Bliss Management Team cannot be held responsible for any detailing work carried out by any member or any related information with our logo.

Owner of Detailing Bliss, Administrators or Moderators accept no responsibility for any information shared by members that could result in legal action against that particular member.

To conclude, you are a guest to our house, we expect you to behave accordingly.
