Default Hi there! Another Brit here.

Hello,

Another obsessive car detailer from the UK to join your ranks here. I'm a member of the UK forum Detailing World (with the same username) so any of you guys who are also members over there will already know me (hello Dave KG, for one!).

For everybody else, a quick intro:- I've been into cars and detailing for about 12 years and in 1996 I co founded the Ford Fiesta Club of GB which is still a growing owners club in the UK with quite a large membership now. I was also the magazine editor for the first few years.

I own 2 cars, a 1989 Ford XR2 concours winner and a 2000 Ford Puma 1.7 Lux. So as you can see I'm a bit of a fast Ford nut lol! The XR2 is solid black with all original paintwork and panels and has only done 30,150 miles from new! It's been in 'retirement' so to speak, from the UK Ford concours scene for a few years now and it's my 'garage' queen as you call it. The Puma is my daily use car, although having said that I work from home so it doesn't really get used daily either. (I'll post up pics of both when I have a little more time and have found out where to put them lol!)

Anyway, I'm glad to join you and hopefully will be regular contributer to the forum as I have been on Detailing World for the past year.

Cheers for reading this

A 'Ghia' eh? You had luxury then? - mine was a blue 957 Popular Plus! LOL! (mind you I did 'modify' it a bit after a while - Cobra bucket seats, alloys, sports exhaust etc.)
