The black part were the water comes out of should not be able to be pulled off, there should be a C clip that holds the black nozzle end to the actual body of the foam gun. It should spin freely though.
The deflector goes at the end of the long black nozzle were the foam comes out from, I do not use it as it is suppose to deflect the foam in one direction. I have not seen many people actually use the deflector. |

The c-clip I think was already on my black foaming piece. Ugh, I wish I had my foam gun with me as I would take some pics for you.
Just to be clear you are talking about the black piece shown in the picture above. There should of been a c-clip attached to the black piece or somewhere in the packaging. Check the instructions to see if it has a packing list and or any mentions of a c-clip. I have the one above so if it does not look like that one then I do not know. |

With the Foam Gun where is the C-Clip located?
From the diagram you have shown I have all the pieces shown in the picture and where the arrow below points is the where the problem is occurring. That black piece the arrow is pointing to is what is very loose when I insert it into the brass middle piece. ![]() Waseem |

Right to the right of the arrow that you drew there is a place for a c-clip. The black piece will have some give as and spin freely. You should not be able to pull that place piece off just by holding the foam gun by it. If you just grab it by that place piece if it comes off then there is the c-clip missing. Check through all your packaging or contact who you got it from and let them know.

agpatel thanks for your help! I realized that I wasn't pushing hard enough to properly clip the black spinning thing to the brass piece. it clips into place as you described and does spin freely. I was trying to be gentle but someimes brute force is really necessary.
