Default Megs wheel brightner

Apply to a wet or dry wheel? AG or Megs site doesn't specify.

I think it wil be safer to apply it to wet wheel, just like Poorboy's Spray and Rinse.

Wet wheel and don't let it dry on the wheel.

I agree with everyone here, I've only used it with the rims wet....I wonder if it's too strong to apply on the rims dry......if anyone has done this what were the results

Well I think you would want to apply any wheel cleaner on a wet wheel...the hose will get some of the loose grime off before cleaning.

One more thing, people on various forums recommend going over the wheels with a car wash soap after Wheel Brightener to neutralize the surface. I always do this just to be safe.

Agree- a highly alkaline car wash or a bicarbonate / water mix to neutralize the acid

Always check the products MSDS and its pH value before you use it. It is always preferable that you use a 100% acid-free product.
Wheel surface Cleaning - Wheel Cleaners:

Not: Diluting an acid with water increases the pH (i.e. more acidic)
