My preference

Carlack 68 plastic care after a wash with a sponge
Sonus (water based silicone) Tyre Gel
or
Ultima tyre and trim gel

I was using permagard's gel but it's not only expensive but solvent based

This is carlack applied on one half and the untouched part of the tyre

The tyres got pre soak, hot soap and a rinse during the wash of this car and tyres were still dirty
