I like the Sonus line because those products clean well and leave a matte finish and none of that greasy oily look. I really like Leather Master, one of the best cleaners out there. I also like the Sonus Leather Cleaner and Conditioner because they restore that new leather scent without the use of perfumes. Usually, I clean with Leather Master, then apply Sonus Leather Conditioner, and end with Leather Master Leather Protection Cream

If you are using LM cleaners and Protector there is no need to add a conditioner. You are doing all the 'conditioning' you need with the water based products although LM Vital does give leather a nice feel (short lived as with most of them)
If you want the leather smell this can be achieved with a leather aroma.

You may be weakening the effect of the protector by putting it on top of a conditioning product.

Use th eStrong Cleaner from LM rather than the Soft on your car interior. Soft cleaner is really for consumers in the furniture market and you should get better results with the Strong Cleaner but always use it as a foam as this is the safest and most effective way of cleaning.

There are stronger Leather Protectors on the market but LM is very good and will have more affect than any of the 'conditioners'

Well hello Judy. You've been gone from the other forum for a while. Welcome to DB. If the interior is in excellent condition (I keep that leather very clean) and it is still a new car, do I still need to use the Strong Cleaner in its full strength? Is it safe to use it on a monthly basis?

I use LM Strong cleaner diluted for regular cleaning (buying one cleaner for all tasks, diluting to the strength required)

Leather Master's Strong Cleaner, its water based formula removes ground in soil and water based stains. It can even remove blue jean transfer with a few light, repeated applications. Clothing dye normally shows as a greyish bloom in seat area. This is usually caused by dark dye transferring from clothing. Particularly avoid brand new (i.e. never been washed) denim jeans, damp knitwear etc. (for regular / maintenance cleaning use diluted 10:1 or Soft Cleaner)

This product is used exactly the same as the soft cleaner, remember to apply cleaner with a sponge to create cleaning foam, which is extremely efficient for the cleaning of leather upholstery. Wipe away excess residue with a soft cloth. This product does not remove the finish or coating from any OEM leathers or those prepared with proper rub resistance standards - Top of the Line Auto Detailing Supplies

Hi Deataildoc.

You would not need to use Strong Cleaner at its full strength but it can be diluted if needed. Get hold of a foaming bottle, much easier to use that way and as I have said much safer.

If you are cleaning very regularly you may be better using a maintenance product that is a cleaner and protector in one as this will be much quicker to use and will be very effective on a new or clean leather. (Make sure it is a cleaner/protector and not a cleaner/conditioner)

Best not to use things that have not been specifically teste for leather as many of them can cause damage to the finish.

Thanks! I've been using Strong Cleaner diluted with water for regular maintenance. I apply it with a grout sponge which helps create some foam, but will definitely get a foaming bottle.
