As D&D said, the answer to your question is based on the size of the backing plate you have... I would suggest buying a smaller one, which is 3" I think, and the 5" or 5.5" one to use with 6-6.5" pads... from experience I've found that 5.5-6.5 pads are best for the PC and don't put too much strain on it like 7.5" ones

My reccomendations IMHO of course... ![]() The easy reccomendations would be: Menzerna Super Intensive Polish Menzerna PO85rd These will take care of most heavy marring, swirls, and finish down super nice. These polishs are a little finicky when you start working them in high heat. If you're not going for perfection, a nice Glaze would be wise. Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze is a favorite. Wax... Well, it's really hard to go wrong with the Lusso Oro from Phil. $40 is a great bang for the buck. Finally, if you're really gonna go at it, I'd order an extra green and white pad or two. One of each to correct a whole car wont cut it. Best of luck! |
