Go over with sip again, then your 85rd on a finishing pad. Do you have any other pads. If you have a green lc pad I would use that with sip after the power gloss and then go 85rd with a blue finishing pad if you have one or a blue 3m pad whichever you have.

Its a little strange to me that you're leaving holograms with SIP/ white. There might be something going on here with your technique/ process. Are you sure you're removing the compound marks with SIP/ white?
If you are, then go over it with FPII or 85rd using a blue pad. Last edited by D&D Auto Detailing; 08-23-2008 at 04:36 PM. |

This is doubtful but maybe you're not working in the polish enough and what you see is polish residue? Perhaps the weather is having an effect on your polishing and maybe it's one of those instances where SIP acts up.
See what you can do with a finishing polish and pad and see if that makes any difference, like everyone else had already mentioned.

SIP on a green or wjite pad should not leave any holograming at all if you are polishing until the abrasives have broken down completely. The polish will go clear at this point. I would go over it again with SIP on white at 1200 - 1500 rpm and then finish with 85RD on a black / blue pad. Thiat should fix it for you.
