I had been using Zaino sealant on my wheels but it is a bit of a pain to apply. I just picked up some Opti-Seal and am curious to see if the spray on sealant works as well.

Zaino gets my vote. Rejex is also durable but not as durable as the Zaino was for me. Duragloss would probably also work good.
What are you guys that are saying Zaino is difficult doing? It is one of the easiest trouble free products I have ever used. Wipe it on thin, wait a short period and wipe off. Just do the swipe test to verify it is dry. Usually dry within 10 to 15 minutes tops. Even if you apply it too thick it wipes right off within 30 minutes. Are you guys using an old version of Zaino? The new Pro line has been idiot proof for me even when applying too thick. Crazy... Last edited by agentf1; 08-14-2008 at 11:37 AM. |

Yes. I use Opti-seal on wheels. Very easy application and I find that durability is good (seems at least equal to PB Wheel Sealant.)
Interestingly enough, after the OptiSeal dries I've hit it with FK425 and it seems to shed dust a bit better without affecting durability. |

UPDATE: (To old thread... Still looking for the magic bullet for wheels)
Just started using FK 1000P on my wheels - Seems to last longer and shed dust/dirt better than the Optiseal or ZCS... Easier cleanup with PW. Still hit it w/ 425 after wash. FWIW, just thought I'd share. |
