Default Collinite 845 IW same as...

I've heard from some local marina guys around my shorehouse that the Collinite 845 IW is the same formula as a certain kind of Collinite marine wax. I know that 476 has the same formula as one of their marine waxes, but does 845 match any?

845 is a liquid and 476 is a paste. 885 (marine) and 476 are the same wax but I'm not sure if 845 is the same as one of the marine waxes.

845 is a liquid and 476 is a paste. I think they are similiar in quality and longevity, but I wanted to know if they actually repackaged 845 as something else.

Ya thats what i meant. I thought they were the same just 845 was a liquid version of 476. Maybe my reply is a little off topic as i now see the OP is talking about the Marine line.

Very nice, now I know I can pick some up from the local marina and just pour it into my 845 bottle.

Just as a double check I sent Collinite an e-mail. I thought they might be similar, that's why the PPM and specific gravity yada yada might be the same, but our suspicions were correct...

The #845 Insulator Wax & #925 Fiberglass Boat Wax are the exact same product, just a different label. We attempted to put the product in a larger container but it would jell up too much and the customer would not be able to get the entire contents out of the container, thus that is why we will stay with the current pint bottle.
