As detailers we get so caught up in trying to attain perfection, that we forget, possibly on purpose, that most people honestly don't care what their car looks like.
Of course these people aren't our customers or our possible client base, but still. My mom still calls me a "car washer" simply because she can't understand the distinction between what I do, and what those guys at the car wash do. She isn't alone. For the most part I don't even bother to pay attention to the car washes as they really have no impact on my business at all. Still though, it is sad to see that they don't have basic training for things like that. Sometimes little changes can go a long way. |

you know that funny. i was looking at the company trucks that resealed my roof and he took me down the street in one of them and i noticed that his truck was immaculate for his job. some people really do care alot for there cars. one of my friends his g/f of 3 years god fed up with him he spent more time cleaning and maintaining his car then he would spend with her. but i dont blame him one bit his car was def more beautiful than she was lol. driving a clean well maintained car i could say is around like wearing a clean pressed suit. not only do u look good. you feel good.
