Default Layering Pinnacle Souveran Paste

I added two layers of Souveran to my car, about 1 hour apart and I found that after the second layer it significantly muted the finish (decrease in reflection and depth). Wondering if this has happened to anyone before?

Muted the finish... Set it out in the sun for a few hours, pull it in your garage wipe it back down with a QD and a clean MF. That should take care of it.

I like to let a nuba "set up" for 24 hours before applying a second coat just for that reason.
If souveran is let to sit for 24 hours a second coat does enhance the finish, a third coat does not help at all so I would stop at the second coat.

Souveran is a great wax, but IME I always have had a hard time layering it.

It never really cures, just sits like a glaze.

That's the feeling I got after I layered it. I usually add only one coat, but I wanted to try layering it this time.
