I bought a jar years ago, back when it was supposedly all the rage. I still have TONS left, and I've been very happy with it. However, I rarely hear it mentioned on the boards these days, as it seems like people have moved onto other products. Whether S100 carnuba was is simply outdated, or detailers have this incurable disease that causes them to immediately jump on new products and hype them up, I do not know.

My question is - how does S100 stack up against the newest offerings? I remember reading it was basically a cheaper version of P21S and exactly the same thing. Is this still the case?

Around the same time I bought S100, I also bought Klasse SG. It seems that it too has gone the same way - formerly super hyped and touted as the greatest thing since sliced bread, and now just an old sealant that's been superceded by newer, easier to use products. True?

The new P21s 100% seems to be the new hot wax from P21s.

And yes, most detailers seem attracted to the flavor of the month.
