Default Spit Shining

Have you guys ever tried the spit shining technique?? I've tried it a couple of times. Its kinda labor intensive but the end product is pretty nice. Looks really really deep.

Do you use chilled distilled water or chilled crystal mist or another qd?

I dont really see this talked about too much.

I read the article and I'm still lost!!! can you break this down for me simpler...

Why is there a problem with layering nuba's in the first place?

I have not tried it. I was actually reading about it last night. I have heard about it but never really knew what it was.

From what I gather. You mist the applicator and you work the wax into the car, misting the area with some distilled water, working it in until it dissappears. Doing this to the whole car and then taking it off.

Not sure if there's a problem with layering nuba unless you get a ridiculous amt of layers in a short period of time. Doesnt that kinda mute the depth some and maybe some product build up?

I believe how it works is AFTER you have applied the first coat of Nuba, You mist the area with water and then apply a second coat to the area, working the applicator pad until the moisture is gone. Then buff off. You can probably find this on DW somewhere.
