Default Waiting time before aplying LSP after sealent

Hi,

I was wondering how long do you wait before applying the LSP over a sealent like CG Jetseal 109.

I heard you should leave the sealant cure 12-24 hour? Also do you have any durability problem?

My friend told me he has some problem sometime and after only 2 month all the protection is gone from the sealent.

Thanks

I *think* to layer the sealant it takes that long, with another layer of sealant. I think a carnuaba wax layer can be put on earlier...
If he's getting only 2 months protection from a sealant and wax, he's either using bad products or the surface isn't properly prepped for bonding.

How does he know the wax is gone but, the sealant is not? Also if he is using JS 109, the durability is not that great and could be the reason it lasts only two months.

Jet Seal can be layered with a shorter wait time than most other sealants.. I think its like 30 minutes

So only 30 minutes of curing time is enought before applying the LSP.

What's if your sealant is the LSP?

Jetseal isn't a very good sealant. Looks good, easy on easy off, but crap durability. You can put on an LSP after 30 minutes.
