Default 3M Sun Gun

I have been thinking about getting a 3M Sun Gun. Do you guys feel it's worth the money or is there something just as good for less???

Gary...the sun gun is the best..I do not have one..but have played with it at the body shop a friend works at....and I compared it to a brinkman I have..the 3M shows minute stuff where the brinkman does not....its the almighty of swirl detectors .....check your PM's

I checked one out today as well. Took it out to the wife's pollen covered then rained on BMW. I could see some light RIDS in a few areas that I did not notice before. Its actually very light weight as well. Just not sure if its worth $300 to me?

Infratech Color Matcher CM5300 is what I use and bought it for $149.00. compared it to the sun gun and I have to say that mine is way better. m2c Only negative is that the cm5300 is not cordless.

Thomas, how much brighter is the CM5300 then a pair of 500watt halogens?

TIA!
