Default Compact Tool for Blowing Water

Metro Air Force Blaster Sidekick

This recently caught my eye via CMA and was actually considering making this purchase. I really find it a PITA having to haul my 12-gallon wet/dry vacuum just so I can blow the water out of all the nooks and crannies on a vehicle that needs just a simple wash and wax/seal.

So has anyone purchased this unit and/or tried it? I definitely admit that this is a luxury for me but it's a luxury I don't mind paying for in an effort to save the hassle and perhaps some time.

Might as well get the Metro Vac and Blow, it is 3x stronger and you get a pretty powerful vacuum as well.

Oh I don't doubt the capabilities of the Metro Vac N'Blo at all but I guess what I'm really looking for is a really compact tool that can blow air well. I think the Sidekick is the smallest tool I've seen yet to accomplish this.

Just curious why not use an air compressor? It's working well for me so far, just me though.

I currently don't have an air compressor.

And at our garage's current situation, I'm not quite sure if we can fit an air compressor in my garage, let alone afford it. If there are some relatively cheap and compact air compressors out there, I'd like to hear about them.

I have 2 compressors. One for the heavy work and a Sears "HotDog" compressor that is small and portable. That's what I usually use to clear the crevices. It was less that $100 on sale.

Of course, BD's garage doubles as a hardware store...
