Default who uses steel wool?

Who else here uses a fine steel wool to do their glass and chrome?

*please do not try this unless you are sure that it is REAL chrome and are experienced!*

i have never done it, I have heard good things but never done it. I stick to polishes ment for that.
Perhaps if I knew how, and felt more comferatble i would,but for nowits just chrome polish for me

i use it on my windows if iv gotten some over spray from my interior shine. or if theres finger prints from my daughter i spray the window then lightly buff with 000 steel wool. does a nice job.

I've used very fine steel wool on exaust tips, but that's about it though. Windows I've never trid it on.

I'd love to hear more about your technique/method 89s1

I've used steel wool on chrome and windows...

000 Steel Wool with some metal polish and wd-40 for extra lube is a mean combo!!!

If needed I will use 0000 steelwool, works awesome. I have even used it on polished exhaust tips.

I have used it before but only when I needed to be very aggressive..it does work however.
