Engine Detailing Do you know how to properly detail an engine bay? Would you like to hear how others detail engine bays?

Question Safe?

Does anyone know how safe DP Cleanse-All Total Exterior Cleaner is? I purchased this because AutoGeek makes it sound as though it is very safe on paint and just about everything.. except it does say to keep off clear plastic and windows? But it say in bold in its description "This strong alkaline cleaner".. so how can it be safe?

I just purchased a 5 liter jug of P21S TAW... but I don't want to waste the 128oz of DP..

So do you think the DP is safe? safe enough to use to clean an engine or wheel well?

How can a "strong alkaline cleaner" be safe on paint? and wouldn't this fade plastic?
