Default February 2008 Entry: 2003 Ford Expedition

Hey guys, I did this detail a few months back but never posted it so I thought it would be good that i entered it into the competition. Anyways, we have a 2003 Ford Expedition that needed detailing BAD, but I was there to make it all better! Here is the process then before/after pictures. Enjoy!

Process:

Exterior
- Rinse
- Tires, Wheels, and Wheel Wells cleaned with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner 4:1
- Pre-wash foam with Meguiar's Hyper Wash and Gilmour Foam Gun
- Rinse
- Two bucket wash with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash
- Rinse
- Cracks and crevices dried with air compressor
- Dry with two Waffle Weave Towels
- Clay with Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit
- Two step polish using PC 7424 with Pinnacle XMT #3 via LC Orange Pad and Pinnacle XMT
via LC White Pad @ speed 5
- Pinnacle XMT Carnauba Finishing Glaze applied using PC 7424 via LC Blue Pad @ speed 4
- Two Coats of Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax (Liquid) applied using PC 7424 via LC Blue Pad @
speed 4
- Tires, Wheel Wells, and Exterior Plastics dressed with Meguiar's All Season Dressing

Interior
- Vacuum with Shop Vac
- Windows cleaned with Stoner's Invisible Glass
- Door jams wiped down and waxed with Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax (Spray)
- Interior surfaces cleaned with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner 10:1
- Mats shampooed with 1Z Upholstery Shampoo and agitated with fabric brush
- Scent and Allergen Reducer added

Looks good, but next time when you are doing defect removal you want to use speed 6. (not 5) This will remove alot more defects at a much faster pace. But overall it came out great, Good Job!

Nice work on both exterior and interior. I agree with the others running all out on a speed 6. Also, I would recommend getting something for the wheel wells to dress them, such as Adam's Undercarriage Spray. Otherwise, looks like it could be sitting on a showroom floor!
