Default 1999 BMW 740il Calypso Red SIP, Ultrafina and Z5pr

No details booked this week, so I took the time to give the 740 a polishing and apply some zaino. It had some sap on the hood.

Sorry no in process pics.

Process:
Washed with valugard ABC system.
Wheels cleaned with valugard soap and a few brushes.
Tires cleaned with AM 777 APC 1:6.
Removed sap spots with 3M adhesive remover.
Clayed with zaino clay and Z6 as a lube.
Wipe paint down with prepsolv to ensure a smooth surface for polishing.
SIP on a Green 5.5" CCS pad at 1500.
UF on a 6" 3M blue pad and bigger panels blue CCS at 1700.
Prepsolv wipedown to remove polish oils.
Z6 wipedown
2x of ZFX'd Z5pro.
Z-16 on tires.

Notes:
The ABC system did not have an effect on any of the sap.
The smoothest paint I have ever polished. I think due to the ABC system and prepsolv wipedown.
The 5.5" green pad got worn and just made it thru the detail.
I did try some meznerna PO85RD on about half of the trunk and UF on the other half, both with a clean blue CCS pad. I looked at the finish in the sun and shade and could not tell a difference.

Thanks Sal! I think they have something close as I saw it on a new 750li at the dealer.

I was told that the green 5.5" are the same as the green german. I have 3 of the 6.5" green german coming from CMA.

Awesome work gmblack3 the BMW looks amazing. I'd like to know you thoughts on the ABC system as well and how much time it added to the detail. Again the BMW just looks fantastic.
