Default AMPBMW detail: 2005 Black Chevy Tahoe Z71 (Lusso)

Well I know I haven't posted up in a while...life just gets busy guys!

Finally found a job that allowed me enough extra time to snap enough pics to make a thread, so here we go!

This customer keeps his Tahoe very clean. He washes it every week, and keeps the interior like new-my kinda customer! That said the car was delivered clean so all it needed was a quick bath, and the only real transformation in the wash stage was that we probably we're the first to clean the inner wheels since...ever! made a huge difference!

Wash process: Rinse with Karcher, Foam with Karcher(Adam's Car Wash in the cannon), rinse with Adam's fire hoze nozzle, wash with Griot's MF mitt and Adam's Car Wash (my favorite wash combo ever!), final rinse with Adam's fire hoze nozzle, Leaf blower dried, wiped down with Detailers Domain "uber" WW and Adam's Detail Spray.

Clay Processman I shoulda got a pic of that clay bar...it was nasty!) Auto Magic Blue Clay lubricated with Adam's Detail Spray, then wiped back down with DD "uber" WW.

NOW FOR THE SHOW

Customer wasn't in a fuss about full correction, so we signed him up for a standard correction kit, and with this we managed to eliminate about 80% of all marring and defects!

Correction Process: Menzerna 106FA via Orange CCS at 1800 rpms-1500 rpms-1200 rpms
Pass. front fender b4:

after:

pass. dorr b4:

50/50

after:

drivers side door b4:

after!:

rear fender after: (sorry couldnt find a b4)

drivers door after:

Hood after in Sun: (couldn't manage to get a good lighting shot on the hood for a b4 sorry)

IN SUN AFTER POLISH:

Now for LSP: (prior to this I applied Lusso Revitalizing creme after a second wash to remove all polishing dust)

FINISHED!!

Tires hit up with Adam's VRT and Arches with Adam's Undercarriage Spray and wiped down for even finish.

Engine cleaned up with P21S TAW and protected with Black WoW

Thanks for looking!

Very nice work, looks really good even with just a one step polish!

yeah, ya know 106 does a lot of work when paired up with a cutting pad! Menzerna deserves much praise here!

Same with 85RD, I've corrected quite a bit with just that stuff as well.

yeah dude, its a great tool to remove swirls...its just not the best for RIDS

I believe phil said it best when he said its more important the pad you use than the polish

Great work! That paint had some serious swirls.

Nice work! Are those Griot's polishing pad holder things worth it?

Thanks, I've been meaning to pick a couple of those up. By the end of any one of my details, my fingers are cramping something fierce.
