Wink KC po tested on a silver 320d

Last weekend I had the chance to test some new products I got days before. My friend owns a BMW 320d and he told me to clean his front bumper and the engine bonnet. The bimmer is silver painted and there is not a lot to see, but I tried it out.

New products were:
- Magic Clean red (cutting clay)
- Koch Chemie Feinschleifpaste (soory for the german words here, but..)
- ValetPro Artemis wax seal

So, lets start this little tiny test.

First I cleaned the front bumper and the bonnet with water, lambswool mitt and Megs shampoo plus. Then clayed with the red Magic Clean clay and Megs #34. It tooks more than half an our to clean the front bumper . My friend works in switzerland and I really thing, there are no more insects between switzerland and home .

Washed once again and dried with cobra guzzler.

Looks better, but I was not satisfied.

Took my beloved Makita, the Feinschleifpaste from Koch Chemie and the recommend yellow polishing pads. So this polish works really great. Its not too oily, but dries not so fast too. Just right. Its developed for scratch-resistant paints and works for other paints too. So after 1 pass the small scratches and some swirls were gone.

The gloss growed up, 3 deeper scratches were gone after 2 hits.

For final polish I took my Rotex 125, the Anti-Hologramm from Koch Chemie and the recommend orange pads. Its always a fun to work with this polish, just so easy to use and brings such a unbelievable wet finish, great.

The real gloss is back.

At least - the wax. One day ago the postman ringed and I got the brandnew Artemis. Smells nice, light fruity, real good.

Took a Megs Pad and put a thin layer of the Artemis on the paint. After some seconds I did the final wipe with a Monster fluffy to a high gloss, Very easy to wipe off, very glossy, I´m satisfied .

Ok, silver is not the best color to test and see results, but in real live the differences betwenn the steps were really noticable.

I can highly recommend all 3 products.
