you picked up nice up some products..

i don't think there is a difference in the 3m tape other then the color..the blue tape comes in different grades/resindues depending on the job at hand ..i have the lesser grade and its a pain to use its always falling off the panels ...

The green tape has a plastic film in the center of it so when you wet sand it doesn't effect it. My friend that has the custom paint shop where I wet sand and polish cars at showed me this, thats one of the benefits to the green tape, plus to me it leaves less residue.

The green tape works a hell of a lot better then the blue tape.

Ive found that this green tape is easier to use when taping of body panels, its better around edges and leaves straighter lines compared to all of the blue tape. So basically its "neater" to use when dividing body panels and going around headlights etc. But it still leaves a white residue behind, which means more cleanup after polishing. I still love using the 3M blue low adhesion tape, I found some at Lowes and that stuff is thin and leaves no residue behind and comes off 100% clean, not so great with edges though but its my favorite tape.
