Got some things in over the last few weeks.

Surf City - Had to get some more Grime Destroyer, Clearly Better and Tire Dressing (not in pic) after Jason sent me some samples - great products.

Pads - Purple foam wool in 2 sizes, old sonus pads, and some LC spot buffs.

Clear painters buckets with gallon markers, grit guards and Optimum car wash plus some detail sticks.

Plus my new pride and joy.....Makita with the 3M backing plate. Thanks Phil!

And a got a change to polish out my hood and play with some wax the other night.....

Where did those painters buckets come from? I'd like some with gallon markings on them.

I'm trying to make a cheaper version of the Zaino buckets with grit guards and gamma seals. The water measurements are just icing on the cake.

I got them at Lowe's and they are great. They even have a little foam padding on the handle...it's a nice touch.

Thanks Carlos. The 3m backing plate is fantastic....I honestly have an easier time using the Makita/3M combo than a I do my Flex orbital. The rotary just seems more natural. I'm loving the Swissvax also, can't wait to try it out on some dark vehicles...need to get some more beading shots!

I won the autopia sweepstakes a while back at picked up some items - The MF was one of them...it's the Blue Perl buffing towel.

Sweet! Thanks. I may go have to check them out. I wonder how accurate the markings are? I have some 5 gallon plastic buckets that were used for brewing beer that have gallon markings on them but they were not accurate at all.

Hey Paul! Looks like your detailing collection is becoming almost as deep as your cigar collection.

Glad to see you are enjoying that Swissol/Swissvax.

Those buckets from Lowe's are the best, and they are cheap as well. Love mine!
