Any who, you have an advantage, you have the PosiTector 200 use it and see how much clear coat you got then you can polish it by hand...not sure if I would use a rotary directly on the surface but I can't see any harm doing it by hand..well just my
i totally forgot about the Positector!!!!!!!!!

haha nice! My Colorware ipod has a nice coat of Mystery on it!

Maybe that's a good spin-off thread... "what non-automotive items of yours do you detail?" I bet we would see some laptops, cellphones, guitars, etc..

Have had lots of guitars (though never more than 3 at once). Let's see, Hagstrom, B.C. Rich, Les Paul, Ibanez, Washburn, Alvarez, Takamine, and presently have an Ovation Legend and Fender Lonestar Strat, both pretty much my fav's.

My polishing story was when I was trying to sell a Les Paul Classic Plus, but it had a couple places right in view on the body the finish was wearing off and would've really hurt the value, but a friend of mine working at a body shop polished it out nicely. Don't think it was even a name brand he used, but he machine polished so it looked brand new.
