My polishing story was when I was trying to sell a Les Paul Classic Plus, but it had a couple places right in view on the body the finish was wearing off and would've really hurt the value, but a friend of mine working at a body shop polished it out nicely. Don't think it was even a name brand he used, but he machine polished so it looked brand new.
Im thinking of using hand polish and see what happens, the lacquer on the electric guitars tend to hold up better than whatever it is that they use on the acoustics.

I love the old Hagstrom Vikings!

BTW, I just picked up:
Gibson J-45
Fishman Loudbox

Any who, you have an advantage, you have the PosiTector 200 use it and see how much clear coat you got then you can polish it by hand...not sure if I would use a rotary directly on the surface but I can't see any harm doing it by hand..well just my

We are in the process of moving to the new place! our old house is 2600 sq ft, and our new one is 5800. But all in all the guitars stay in their cases so not that much room is needed!

Good thing is we didnt sell the old home so that I can still use the garage to detail!
