Default Paintless Dent Repair with dry ice?

Has anyone heard of using dry ice for paintless dent repair? I was watching a video that showed applying dry ice to dents would cause the metal to contract and pop the dent out. I'm curious if there is any truth to this. I'm guessing these guys are just blowing smoke...

It works for small dings, but not dents, I've used it in the past, on some very minor hail damage on the trunk of my car.

here are a couple pictures of a dent in my lincoln LS that I want to get removed. I'm wondering if I can do it myself.

Just call a paintless dent removal guy. That cost 20 bucks at most to be removed.
